What Is Pickle Week?
Pickle Week is a week-long community running and walking contest built around a single Strava segment called "Enjoying The Pickle Route" a trail-and-road loop around the Yankton Trail Soccer Fields referred to as The Pickle.
( https://www.strava.com/segments/33773381) Every loop around the 2 mile Segment during the contest window earns you a Pickle. Rack up as many as you can, chase the leaderboard, and help us close out the week in style on National Pickle Day, followed by the Nike Cross Regional (NXR) meet happening at Yankton Trails on November 15.
For the week, 605 Running (The Bridges, Western Ave & 57th St) becomes a Asics Pickle Headquarters — base camp for running gear, socializing with the other participants, leaderboard updates, and awards presentations.
Every Pickle earned helps raise funds for Feeding South Dakota from our Sponsor and Participants support, working to end hunger across the state.
