2026 Vikings Make-A-Wish 5K

Join us in making something truly special happen!

As students of the Master’s of Sports Administration & Leadership program here at Augustana University, we’re beyond excited to host our second annual 5k, in partnership with Make-A-Wish Foundation to help make a child’s wish blossom to life. This year, MSAL students are jumping in to lead the charge, and we’d love for the Sioux Falls community to be part of the greater cause.

Our goal is to build off momentum from last year and raise $10,000 to grant a wish for a child battling a critical illness, and we believe we can do it as a collective. This event is all about community, energy, and giving back. After the run, stick around to enjoy a great social atmosphere and a day of Augie athletics! The women’s softball team plays a double header versus Minot State on Parent’s Day at 12:00 & 2:00 PM. Come early, support a fantastic cause, and make the day even more meaningful!

As shown in the graphic below, the course will take a large loop around the Augustana campus, starting in the Kirkeby-Over Stadium west side parking lot and will finish with a loop around the Augustana track.

We’re fired up to host this event and can’t wait to see our campus and community unified for something bigger than all of us. Come run, cheer, donate, or simply show up. Every ounce of support helps make a wish come true!
